Dr. G. Wayne Jones |
Dr Jones attended North Carolina State
University in the Pre Veterinary program.
In 1971, he graduated from the University of
Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. He
first practiced in Mooresville, NC for 3
years before moving to Lincolnton in 1974.
Since moving to Lincolnton, he has limited
his practice to small animal medicine with a
special interest in surgery. He and his
wife, Betty, have been married for 37 years
and have a son, daughter, and 4
grandchildren. Their other children are
Toby, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, and
two cats. Toby goes to work with Dr Jones
and is a special member of the staff. Their
two cats, Bee Bee and Sunshine, were
adopted. Bee Bee was left on the office
doorstep one cold spring morning. He was
only a few days old and required a lot of
TLC. He is now 17 years old and doing well.
Their other cat, Sunshine, was found in the
middle of the road by one of his
technicians. She was only a few weeks old,
but is the head of the household now. When
not working at the hospital, Dr Jones enjoys
golf and traveling. |

Dr.
Kevin M. Jones |
Dr. Kevin Jones graduated from the North
Carolina State University of Veterinary
Medicine in 1995. He has practiced with his
dad, Dr. Wayne Jones since that time.
Dr. Kevin Jones is a long time local
resident and now lives in the west Lake
Norman area. He is married to Dr. Amy Jones
and they have a son, Andrew and a daughter,
Lindsay. They share their home with three
dogs, Henry, Kia and FiFi and two cats,
Wolfgang and Olivia. Dr. Kevin Jones has
dedicated his career to small animal
medicine with special interest in small
animal surgery. In his spare time he enjoys
fishing, camping, Nascar races and spending
time with his family. |

Dr. Kathy D.
Halada |
Dr. Halada attended NC State
University for her undergraduate studies in
poultry science and graduated from NC State
College of Veterinary Medicine in 1994.
After graduation she practiced in Ahoskie,
NC with a mixed animal practice. She quickly
learned that her love was for cats and dogs
and she moved to Cornelius. She has
practiced with the Animal Hospital of
Cornelius, P.A. since January 1996. She
has special interest in internal medicine of
cats and dogs. Dr. Halada is married and has
two children and a cat named Kalo. Her
husband is also a veterinarian in Concord,
NC. When not at work Dr. Halada spends all
her free time with her family and friends. |

Dr. Jenny D.
Langford |
Dr. Jenny Langford grew up in
Westchester County New York. She moved to
North Carolina in 1982 to attend Duke
University where she received a B.S. in
Zoology. After putting her husband through
medical school, she attended N.C. State
University College of Veterinary Medicine,
graduating in 1994. Dr. Langford left North
Carolina to practice Veterinary Medicine in
Florida for a year. She joined the Animal
Hospital of Cornelius staff in 1995.
Dr. Langford lives with her
husband, Jon, and their three children:
Cameron, Blair and Gaines (two girls and a
boy). The home is also lovingly shared with
two crazy rescue dogs, a rescue cat and a
snake.

Dr.
Oona Gayle |
Dr. Oona
Gayle was born on Jamaica, W.I. and grew up
in Greensboro, NC. She developed her love of
animals from her great Aunt who had 7 dogs,
1 cat, rabbits and chickens. Dr. Gayle
obtained her B.S. in Laboratory Animal
Science from NC Agricultural and Technical
State University in 1991 and her DVM from
Tuskegee University School of Veterinary
Medicine in 1996. She also completed a 1
year internship in small animal medicine at
Tuskegee and enjoys soft tissue surgeries.
Dr. Gayle is allowed to live with three
cats, Momma Kitty (DSH), Tyler
Dickerson (Maine Coon) and George (DSH
Pistol). She enjoys spending time with
family and friends, reading and dancing. She
is also a member of the Usher Board with her
church in Charlotte, NC. |
